This position is located with the South Carolina Department of Mental Health, Beckman Center for Mental Health Services, Laurens Mental Health Clinic.
Β 
Under general supervision, provides treatment services to the seriously mentally ill adult population and/or children, adolescents and their families. Β Mental health services will be provided in a culturally competent manner, which will include but not be limited to, assessment, crisis management, individual therapy, group therapy, and family therapy.


Minimum and Additional Requirements


State Requirements:Β  A master’s degree in guidance, counseling, the social sciences or related field.
Agency Requirements: Β Must qualify for credentialing and privileging as a mental health professional and in accordance with Quality Assurance standards and with concurrence by DMH Office of Quality Management.Β Β

Preferred Qualifications


Preferred: Β One year post master’s experience.
Bilingual abilities in English and Spanish (or another language) are a plus
