This is position is located in Policy & Process Management, Richland County.

Are you the One? We are looking for a Program Coordinator IIΒ who will serve as senior team member for eligibility policy and process development and support, Eligibility federal quality reviews and audits, special projects, as well as to serve as subject matter expert for EEMS contracts and initiatives.
  • Maintain knowledge of Medicaid Eligibility Policy, Procedures and System Functionality.
  • Provides timely and accurate policy, process and system support to Agency and EEMS Leadership, Supervisors, Staff and Contractors. Β This includes research and analysis of issues that may have policy, process or training implications and other mechanisms for providing policy support.
  • Serves as Eligibility Policy and Process Subject Matter Expert for Policies & Procedures, Contracts, Training, Quality Assurance, System Development and other Agency initiatives as assigned. Serves as senior team member for completion of complex work assignments. Mentors Policy and Process team members; participates in peer review process for written documents including but not limited to policy, procedures, training materials, job aids, Service Manager responses and EEMS communications.
  • Coordinates special projects Β for the Bureau of Eligibility Policy and EEMS as assigned. Facilitates and completes process mapping for EEMS procedures.
  • Assist with Eligibility activities related to federal and state quality reviews and audits, including readiness activities, review and response to findings, development, implementation and updates for corrective action plans, as well as collaboration with third party reviewers, internal Eligibility Quality Assurance Team, Training and Eligibility Operations.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Minimum and Additional Requirements

A bachelor's degree and at least (2) two years of relevant professional experience in social service programs, business administration, general administrative management.

Bachelor's degree must be from a college or higher education institution recognized by the U.S. Department of Education and Council for Higher Education (CHEA).

An equivalent combination of experience and education may be considered with prior State Human Resources approval.

Additional Requirements:

  • Sitting or standing for long periods of time.
  • Occasional overnight travel.
  • Overtime and/or weekend work with Deputy approval.
  • Lifting requirements: 20 lbs.
