DescriptionWorking as a member of the Strategic Customer Care team the Senior Quality Engineer for Strategic Accounts will serve as the primary point of contact for quality-related matters for a designated group of strategic customer accounts. This role will require strong technical expertise, excellent communication skills, project management skills and a deep understanding of Zeus products and quality management systems/ regulatory requirements.
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive, corporate wide quality oversight for assigned strategic accounts.
- Monitor customer satisfaction levels and drive appropriate actions for quality-related concerns or issues promptly, including travel to customer and Zeus locations as appropriate.
- Manage Change Request Notifications to strategic customers and ensure that changes are implemented in an effective, collaborative robust & sustainable manner.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for quality-related inquiries and issues from strategic customers.
- Effectively communicate quality-related information to customers and internal stakeholders.
- Build strong relationships with customer quality teams and maintain open lines of communication.
- Collaborate closely with Corporate Quality, Site Quality, Global Supply Chain, and Global Account Managers to ensure alignment and coordination of quality efforts.
- Provide technical support and guidance to site quality teams on customer-specific requirements.
- Facilitate problem-solving and continuous improvement initiatives across the organization.
- Identify and assess potential quality risks associated with strategic accounts.
- Develop and implement effective risk mitigation strategies.
- Monitor and report on the effectiveness of risk management measures.
- Ensure integration and adoption of customerβs technical requirements in Zeusβ systems.
- Analyze customer satisfaction and feedback and summarize these results to executive leadership
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in quality engineering or a related role within a manufacturing environment.
- Strong understanding of quality management systems, such as ISO 9001, AS9100D, ISO 13485
- Strong experience using software platforms including Microsoft Office
- Experience with quality tools and techniques, including root cause analysis, failure mode and effects analysis (FMEA), and DMAIC methodologies.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a cross-functional team.
- 50% Travel requiredΒ
