Recycle 3Rd

Objective:  To maintain safe and efficient operations of all needed recycling functions requiring the use of sit-down forklifts as needed to accomplish recycling operations.  

Job Responsibilities:

• Facilitate cross department requirements and support

Job Requirements:

• Facilitate all recycling operations including loading/unloading trailers
• Sort and segregate recyclable items from trash
• Operate a compactor, bailer and forklifts
• Perform wooden pallet repairs as need
• Maintain recycling work centers and outside of the facility
• Train teammates and new members to the recycling team
• Flexibility to work all shifts and days needed to satisfy company needs
• Complete additional tasks/duties as needed or directed

Minimum Qualifications:

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Knowledge of warehouse operations
• Organizational, multi-tasking and time-management skills
• Oral/written communications
• Operate sit-down forklift (preferred)
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs. repeatedly
• Willing to work any shift, weekends, and some holidays
• Able to work in a very cold (36 °F) and wet environment
