Sanitation Tech Part Time

Department: Sanitation

Reports to: Sanitation Supervisor

Job Type: Regular, Full-Time

Rate: $17.50 per hour

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for cleaning and sanitizing all production areas, including equipment, machinery, walls, floors, and ceilings.
• Prepare room for cleaning by sweeping up excess produce/trash on floor using a broom or shovel.
• Hose down equipment and machinery with water hoses and apply foam to all surfaces in production areas.
• Scrub/Brush/Hand clean equipment and machinery as needed, and rinse foam from equipment and machinery.
• Apply sanitizer and oil/air mixture to all surfaces
• Have the ability to read and understand chemical warnings
• Disassemble equipment for cleaning purposes and be able to reassemble the same equipment
• Clean receiving dock
• Carry waste outside to trash bins
• Document daily cleaning on Sanitation Forms.
• Be able to inspect others work as well as own work.
• Other duties may be assigned by Sanitation Supervisor, Director of QA, or VP of Operations.
• Regular and reliable attendance is an essential function of the job.

Hours and Work Days: Various hours per week (night shift), overtime as needed, reporting for duty by no later than 10 PM and getting off when all tasks are completed.

Other: Requires constant bending, stooping, and squatting. Requires ability to lift a minimum of 75 pounds. May require climbing steps or a ladder.
