Minimum Qualifications:

Education:Β 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Information Technology.
  • Working towards CM Certification from the Configuration Management Process Improvement Center (CMPIC).
  • Technical Training in relevant technical field.

Experience:

  • Eighteen (18) years of practical experience in computer systems operations. Experience in task specific projects, to include three (3) of the following four (4) areas: Systems Requirements, Operational Requirements, Test & Evaluation, and Training.
  • Fifteen (15) years of progressive experience in data entry and formatting via common productivity tools such as the Microsoft Office Suite. Expert working knowledge of the Configuration Management Professional (CMPRO) document, software, and hardware repositories.
  • TS/SCI level Clearance required.

ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:Β 

  • Additional 8+ years of experience as a configuration manager supporting IT programs.

Job Description:

  • Required to respond to technical and programmatic data calls related to the systems; defining baselines and versioning; initiating and conducting studies that examine upgrades and changes to the systems.
  • Provide lab support to include receipt and sending of software and maintain daily accountability of classified software in the lab.
  • Required to ensure all baseline software is proper registered within Department of Navy Application and Database Management System (DADMS).
  • Participate in the preparation and/or review of documentation such as Software Version Description Documents (SVDD), Software Development Plans, and Software Load Plans. Local Configuration Control Board (LCCB), meeting and facilitate the promotion of change management artifacts such as but not limited to, ECRs, Platform Technical Review Board (PTRB) briefs to the PMW Configuration Control Board (CCB) as required for all sustainment baselines.
  • Responsible for the tracking and management of COTS/GOTS software license requirements, software distribution, and software patch upgrades for all sustainment baselines. The Contractor shall provide technical reports/agendas/meeting minutes and trip reports.

Essential Duties of the Job:

  • Ability to communicate task requirement information to client in a clear and concise manner.
  • Must be able to sit and stand for prolonged periods of time, as well as lead and participate in meetings and working groups.
  • Requires visual acuity to use a keyboard.
  • Must be able to attend work each day, during scheduled hours, unless on travel or approved time off.
  • Ability to work on computer for long periods, and communicate with individuals by telephone, email and face-to-face
