Duties And Responsibilities
* Assist with hiring, training, scheduling, supervising and evaluating student staff * Ability to work flexible hours which may include nights and weekends for programming and events * Assist with student payroll using Sling scheduling software * Assist with revisions to policy and procedure manuals * Assist with safety and risk management procedures through trainings and mock drills * Assist with documentation of inventory and maintenance of equipment and supplies * Create promotional materials and market Recreational Services through social media and various promotional events * Maintain daily office hours with flexibility to work some nights and weekends for events and programming * Attend Recreational Services staff meetings as assigned * Opportunities to pick up additional hours assisting in student staff positions, paid at an hourly rate * Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
Bachelorβs degree required. Prior experience working with recreational facilities preferred. Any offer is contingent upon acceptance and enrollment in the Graduate School at Winthrop University.
