Duties And Responsibilities
Use fundraising software to call alumni, parents, and friends of Winthrop to renew, increase and acquire gifts to the Winthrop Fund, as well as making thank you phone calls to existing donors. Establish a positive rapport with the alumni you call. Update address and contact information of all alumni. Maintain a positive approach while responding to potentially challenging concerns or issues that an alumnus, parent, or friend may bring up. Follow all other procedures and guidelines of all donor information. Work with Annual Giving team to complete direct mail and email solicitations, as well as assisting in creating social media content to promote and highlight philanthropy at Winthrop. Assist with large on-campus events like Senior Week and Day of Giving.
Qualifications
Students must be in good academic standing and have a positive attitude. This person must represent Winthrop in a professional and courteous manner at all times.
