Maintains a professional image and exhibits excellent customer relations to patients, visitors, physicians, and co-workers in accordance with our Service Excellence Standards and Core Values.
Operates ultrasound equipment to produce images of body for diagnostic purposes, as directed by physician and according to established standards and practices; ensures all regulatory standards are met; and performs administrative responsibilities necessary to maintain accreditation by the American Institute of Ultrasound in Medicine.
Reports clinically to the physician and clinical supervisor if applicable. Reports appropriate administrative concerns to the office manager.
Job Requirements
Licenses/Certifications/Registrations/Education:
Must be graduate of an accredited school of Radiology or formal Diagnostic Medical Sonography ProgramΒ
Active Certification by American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS); current compliance with Continuing Medical Education (CME) requirements for specialty as appropriate
