Long Cove Club is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Architectural Review Board (ARB) Administrator to join our team. This role oversees daily operations of the ARB, acting as a liaison between board members, builders, architects, landscape designers, contractors, and homeowners. The position supports the ARB's mission and requires a high level of organization, interpersonal skills, and the ability to work independently. Knowledge of relevant regulations, industry standards, and local guidelines, as well as background in project management, real estate, or property management, is helpful. Responsibilities include processing application forms for exterior home renovations, facilitating communication between LCC members and the ARB, and attending ARB committee meetings. The position also involves issuing work permits and building permits, collecting fees and compliance deposits, and issuing Long Cove Club permits.

  • Monday-Friday, 8AM-4PM

Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the primary point of contact between the ARB and applicants.
  • Maintain relevant filing systems.
  • Respond to and resolve ARB inquiries and questions.
  • Provide staff support to the ARB Chair, ARB Board Members, and homeowners.
  • Create regular communication that provides education and reminders to members re: changes, existing guidelines, and annual inspections.
  • Collaborate with other departments such as marketing and community relations.
  • Record and distribute minutes or other records for meetings.
  • Attend and manage agenda items for the once-monthly meeting of the ARB.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
  • Three to five years of related experience preferred.
  • Detail-oriented and professional with exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or similar software.
  • Basic understanding of clerical procedures and systems such as recordkeeping and filing.
  • Ability to work independently and reliably, with excellent interpersonal skills and the flexibility to adapt to various stakeholder needs.
  • Knowledge of, or ability to quickly acquire, familiarity with any specifically applicable laws or guidelines.
