Caregiver

Job Summary:

5 Star Homecare is seeking a caring and compassionate Caregiver to join our team in Andrews, South Carolina. This is a part-time, hourly role in this field. As a Caregiver, you will be responsible for assisting and supporting our clients in their daily activities, promoting a safe and comfortable living environment, and fostering meaningful relationships with our clients. This role is ideal for someone passionate about helping others and positively impacting their lives.

Responsibilities:

- Assist clients with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility
- Provide medication reminders and assist w
- Prepare and serve meals according to dietary restrictions and assist with eating if needed
- Help with light housekeeping tasks such as laundry, dishes, and tidying up
- Accompany clients to appointments and activities as needed
- Complete daily activity logs and report any changes in client's condition to team leaders
- Maintain professional boundaries and adhere to all confidentiality policies
- Foster a positive and nurturing environment for clients, promoting independence and dignity
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and their families

Requirements:


- Previous healthcare or caregiving experience is preferred
- Current CPR and First Aid certification
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
- Reliable transportation
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Compassionate and patient demeanor
- Ability to work independently and adapt to changing situations

- Availability to work on weekends and holidays if needed
