About the job 

• 100% touch freight 

• Hand unload cargo using rollers and ensuring proper handling of freight  

• Average 3 loads per week with 3 stops per load, average approximately 1000 miles per week 

• May pick up live load backhauls when deliveries are completed 

You’ll have to 

• Work with dispatchers and other team members to schedule deliveries 

• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle  

• Maintain accurate driving logs for hours of service, mileage, and fuel consumption  

• Company provided equipment five years old or newer  

• Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations as well as company policies  

WHAT WE REQUIRE  

• Class A CDL  

• First seat experience  

• At least 21 years of age  

• Clean MVR  

• Commitment to delivering exceptional customer service  

• Ability to unload goods manually  

• Availability to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed  

• Stable employment history  

• No drug related convictions in the past 5 years  

• Ability to pass pre employment screening and background checks  

• Drivers may take trucks home as long as they are in a safe place and secure 

• Must live within 25 miles of Knoxville, TN, Chattanooga TN, Roanoke, VA, Lexington, KY, 30 miles of Atlanta, GA, and 120 miles of Shelby, NC
