Golf Cart Mechanic [Part Time]

This position is responsible for the continuous maintenance and repair of the resort’s 200+ golf cart fleet, providing all guests with a safe, reliable, and high-quality golf experience.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

• Perform routine preventive maintenance and repairs on battery and gas-powered golf carts
• Diagnose and repair electrical, mechanical, and battery issues
• Maintain charging stations and battery systems
• Inspect carts daily to ensure safety and readiness
• Manage maintenance schedules to reduce downtime
• Track maintenance, repairs, parts, and warranty information
• Order and maintain parts inventory
• Manage and processes invoices timely
• Coordinate warranty claims, recalls, and major repairs with manufacturers and authorized service providers
• Follow manufacturer guidelines and safety standards
  

GENERAL QUALIFICATIONS: EXPERIENCE, KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS

• Experience repairing golf carts or similar vehicles
• Prior experience with large fleets preferred
• Knowledge of electrical systems, batteries, chargers, golf cart GPS systems
• Strong troubleshooting skills
• Basic computer skills for tracking maintenance
• Basic technical aptitude and ability to use technology as and if needed
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Valid driver’s license
