Day Shift - approximate shift times of 6 a.m. - 6 p.m.

Wages starting at $21.00/hr for entry level candidates. Experienced candidates will be eligible to start at higher pay. Pay will be determined based on experience and skill set.

Rogers Group is seeking a Heavy Equipment Operator for our operation located in South Carolina. The successful candidate for this role will have an uncompromising emphasis on safety excellence, be a self-starter and will have responsibilities that include but are not limited to:

• Operate a variety of heavy equipment and machinery including dozer, excavator, front end loader, dredge, Backhoe, Broom, Asphalt Roller, Asphalt Screed, Paver, Motor Grader and general work around the asphalt operations.
• Perform daily pre and post inspections with appropriate documentation in compliance with company policies
• Perform servicing and maintenance of equipment as trained and directed by management
• Operate equipment with a high degree of competency, skill, and proficiency
• Properly follow all company policies and OSHA / MSHA / environmental regulations for safe working procedures and environment
• Other duties as assigned by management

Required Qualifications:

• Individual must be dedicated to always operating safely
• Individual must be willing to perform any task required at quarry
• Must be able to identify and alert management to maintenance issues with equipment
• Ability to compete pre-operation inspection paperwork
• Experience operating heavy equipment required 
• Flexibility to work overtime and weekend when necessary
• Team player attitude
• Must pass pre-employment drug screening
