We are seeking a proactive and well-rounded Human Resources Manager to oversee and manage all HR functions for our office. In this standalone role, you will serve as the primary point of contact for employee relations, conflict resolution, workplace investigations, performance management, talent acquisition, licensing, and compliance. You will play a key role in shaping the employee experience, fostering a positive and productive workplace culture, and ensuring HR practices align with our core values of Integrity, Vigilance, and Helpfulness. Working closely with local leadership, you will provide strategic guidance and day-to-day HR support to drive operational effectiveness and support the success of every employee. This position is based out of our Hilton Head, SC Securitas office.

Key Responsibilities:
Employee Relations & Workplace Support
Serve as the primary HR contact for employees, providing guidance on policies, workplace concerns, and performance matters.
Address employee relations issues promptly and fairly, including conflict resolution, coaching, and corrective action.
Conduct workplace investigations as needed, ensuring confidentiality, compliance, and thorough documentation.
Foster a positive, respectful, and inclusive office culture that supports employee engagement and retention.
Provide practical HR guidance to managers on performance management and employee development.

Leadership & Advisory Support
Partner closely with office leadership to support business goals and workforce planning.
Offer day-to-day HR advice to managers on employee matters, compliance, and best practices.
Maintain high standards of professionalism, discretion, and ethical conduct when handling sensitive information.
Promote a collaborative, team-oriented environment within a small office setting.

Compliance & HR Administration
Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and workplace regulations.
Maintain accurate employee records, personnel files, and HR documentation.
Administer company policies and recommend updates as needed.
Support benefits administration, leave management, and payroll coordination.
Monitor required licenses, certifications, and training to maintain compliance.

Recruitment & Onboarding
Manage full-cycle recruitment for office and support staff positions.
Coordinate interviews, extend offers, and facilitate background checks and pre-employment requirements.
Lead onboarding and orientation to ensure a smooth transition for new hires.
Support employee retention initiatives and workforce planning efforts.

Qualifications
Education & Experience
Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
At least 3-4 years of full cycle Human Resource experience, with a focus on hourly employee relations.
