Land Surveyor

Position: GPS Surveyor

Reports To: Operations Manager

Role Summary:

Manage field teams, oversee GPS equipment, and ensure accurate survey data for construction projects. Key responsibilities include:

• Providing technical support for GPS software and equipment.
  
• Scheduling crews and managing tasks with minimal supervision.
  
• Integrating GPS systems with site plans and troubleshooting machine controls.
  
• Operating drones for topographic surveys (license required or willingness to obtain).
  

• Locations: Various job sites.
  
• Schedule:
  
• Mon-Thu: 7:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
  
• Fri: 7:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.
  
• Travel: Some required.
  

Requirements

Qualifications:

• 2+ years of experience with GPS equipment (Topcon preferred).
  
• High school diploma required; bachelor’s degree preferred.
  
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
  
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and time-management skills.
  
• Ability to pass a drug screen and background check.
