The Level 1 Technical Engineer will be responsible for handling incoming support requests by telephone or ticketing system efficiently with stellar customer service.
As a Member of our Service Desk Team, you will need to be prepared to diagnose, troubleshoot, and solve basic hardware and software issues.
JOB DESCRIPTION & DUTIES OF THE JOB:
路 Provide Technical Support to a wide range of clients
路 Configure and install computers, networking equipment, and other related hardware as needed
路 Maintain professional and service-oriented behavior on the phone and on site with clients
路 Acquire and maintain CJIS compliance (background check and fingerprinting required)
路 Achieve and Maintain team goals for metrics (30-minute average resolution time, 15-minute average response time)

路 Customer Surveys (ticket surveys, monthly surveys)
路 6-hour daily model
聽聽REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:
路 2 years of related experience OR education
聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽o Related experience includes but not limited to:
聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽搂 Prior work at a MSP (Managed Services Provider)
聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽搂 Prior Help Desk Experience
聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽搂 Troubleshooting Computers, Servers, and/or networking equipment
聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽搂 Experience with Windows Server, Microsoft 365 Admin portal, Hyper-V
聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽搂 Experience working with Watchguard or Unifi products
路 CompTIA A+ Certificate (Heavily preferred)
路 Ability to troubleshoot a variety of IT related issues in a business network environment
路 Good Communication Skills
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
路 Valid Driver鈥檚 license with good driving record
路 Able to pass a background check
路 US Work Authorization required
路 Duties may require being on call periodically and working outside normal working hours
路 Ability to lift 50 lbs - standard computer equipment (PCs, Printers, etc)
路 Able to commute to our office daily or willing to relocate
