What will I be doing?
As a Maintenance Administrative Assistant you would be responsible for performing your position's responsibilities and driving company success through performing the following tasks to the highest standards:
- Cultivates an environment of outstanding customer service to all departmental employees. Assists with the coordination/dispatching of all daily maintenance requests. Ensures work requested is completed to the delight and satisfaction of all guests.
- Assists the Chief Engineer in coordinating efforts with outside contractors and vendors. Maintains ledger (Inventory book) and current balance of several products. Assists in coordinating a comprehensive preventative maintenance program for all units and facilities.
- Assists the Chief Engineer with ordering and inventory. Reviews material orders, recommends par their approval or rejection to higher authority. Resolves individual allotment of materials/par by prescribed procedures. Prepares periodic statement of Inventories by established practices or detailed instructions. Maintains an inventory/par level for engineering parts, Attic stock and materials. Liaison and point of contact for onsite contractors. Sets and maintains files for a moderate number of subjects.
- Monitoring and creation of all department operating budgets with accountability for reporting on any variances. organizing, guiding training and record keeping of all Maintenance training and safety awareness programs. Promotes safety awareness among all members of the department, adhering to resort and legislative procedures and regulations. Active participation of the propertyβs safety committee.
- Maintains effective communication and interaction with the Engineering Leadership and all other departments of the property, ensuring Management is aware of any unresolved problems or issues, and any upcoming potential problem areas.
- Ensure that Emergency Preparedness and Safety Awareness Plan(s) are updated and current.
Routinely inspects all rooms and public areas to ensure they are in compliance with established standards of product quality, appearance, and functionality. - Strong written/verbal communication skills, handle a multi-phones line in a fast paced environment. Detail oriented, able to apply an extensive knowledge of Housekeeping practices and procedures for the planning supervision, and completion of multiple and sophisticated assignments
- Assists on all guest activities as required by management; willing to "pitch-in" and help co- workers with their job duties and be an outstanding teammate.

- 3-5 years of related experience.
