This role goes beyond traditional assembly work. The ideal candidate is technologically savvy, curious, and improvement-oriented, with the ability to follow standard work while also identifying opportunities to improve it. You will partner with manufacturing, engineering, and quality teams to ensure efficient, high-quality production and a culture of accountability and innovation.

***This role will require a week of travel after onboarding to Fultonville, NY for training***

Key Responsibilities

Assembly & Production Execution

  • Assemble electro-mechanical components and finished goods according to work instructions, drawings, and specifications.

  • Perform calibration, testing, and inspection to ensure products meet quality standards and functional requirements.

  • Contribute ideas to improve flow, ergonomics, tooling, and work cell layout.

  • Support implementation of Lean / RBS tools and continuous improvement initiatives aligned to site goals.

Technology & Data Utilization

  • Utilize digital tools, systems, and equipment to support assembly, testing, and reporting activities.

  • Accurately enter and retrieve production data across systems.

  • Demonstrate comfort learning and adapting to new technologies, automation, or digital work instructions.

  • Use data and metrics to understand performance and identify improvement opportunities.

Team Collaboration & Ownership

  • Work effectively within a team environment while maintaining individual accountability for output and quality.

  • Communicate issues, risks, and improvement ideas clearly and proactively.

  • Support cross-training and knowledge sharing across the team.

  • Take ownership of workstation organization, material flow, and overall cell performance.

Safety, Quality & Workplace Organization

  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area (5S standards)

  • Ensure proper handling of materials, tools, and equipment.

  • Uphold a strong quality mindset with a focus on “built-in quality” vs. inspection.

Required Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED required.

  • Basic mechanical aptitude and ability to read and interpret drawings and specifications.

  • Experience working in a manufacturing or production environment.

  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

  • Demonstrated ability to follow processes and complete work accurately.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience assembling electro-mechanical components or similar products.

  • Soldering experience.

  • Familiarity with lean manufacturing, continuous improvement, or problem-solving methods.

  • Experience using digital tools for production tracking or reporting.

  • Technical or trade school education (mechanical, electrical, or related).
