Additional Information: This position will provide Materials Clerk responsibilities with some Materials Tech responsibilities.

Under directions of the Logistics Manager, the MaterialsΒ ClerkΒ is will have one of two job functions:Β Β Β
Β
PARΒ and InventoryΒ ManagementΒ β Replenishes multiple PAR supply locations daily.Β Β PicksΒ items from the general storeroom inventory.Β Β Fills on demand supply requests.Β Β Responsible for the maintenance andΒ cleaning of each PAR location.Β Β Responsible for the maintenance and cleaning of the general storeroom and Materials Management work area.Β Β Routinely checks PAR locations and general storeroom inventory for expired products.Β Β Implements product conversions andΒ assistsΒ with communication as needed.Β Β AssistsΒ with inventory cycle counts.Β

Supply and Equipment Delivery and Inventory ManagementΒ β Utilizing supply tracking software and hardware, the Materials ClerkΒ is responsible forΒ the delivery and tracking of all equipment and supplies delivered to each hospital.Β Β AlsoΒ assistsΒ departments in returning equipment and supplies to Materials Management for return to vendors.Β Β Responsible for the maintenance and cleaning of the general storeroom and Materials Management work area.Β Β Routinely checks general storeroom inventory for expired products.Β Β Β

Education:Β High School Graduate or GEDΒ

Experience:Β Β OneΒ yearΒ experience in a storeroom or warehouse, preferable in Hospital Materials Management.Β

Knowledge/Skills:Β Good communicationΒ skills, interpersonalΒ skillsΒ andΒ problem solvingΒ skills.Β Β Ability to provideΒ excellent customer serviceΒ while working asΒ a team. Ability to handle multiple tasks with frequent interruptions. Basic computer skills including MS Windows. Proficient in PMM Pathways, with Supply Tracking System andΒ the abilityΒ to useΒ hand heldΒ scannersΒ preferred.Β Β Self directedΒ and able to work independently. Ability toΒ operateΒ standard office equipment (ex.Β fax machine, printers, PCβs). Can handle supply carts and canΒ operateΒ cardboard compactor,Β manualΒ and powered pallet jacks.Β
