Scope
A Construction Support Specialist III plans and performs work requiring sound engineering judgment in the evaluation, organization, and execution of assignments. Applies diversified knowledge of construction and technical principles, practices, and methods for a range of assignments. May implement and execute construction support activities on small to mid-size projects worldwide. On intermediate size projects the Construction Support Specialist III may function as the βleadβ for construction support activities. This position has developed a working knowledge in one or more specific construction disciplines. A Construction Contract Technical Representative (CTR) monitors a contractor's performance against contract specifications, ensuring adherence to technical requirements and providing technical expertise to contracting. CTRβs hold progress meetings, records and assigns actions as needed. An important function of this role is monitoring requests for Information (RFIβs) as well as potential change notices (PCNβs.)

β’ This position requires extensive (professional coordination) operational capabilities including management of supporting positions including tracking attendance, notifications etc.
β’ Extensive experience working with union trades and bargaining agreements.
β’ Monitor contractor performance regarding safety, quality, and production
β’ Prepare and participate in shift turnover with daytime counterpart
β’ Assist with HSE reporting and monitoring
β’ Cross-management focus to maintain business operation continuity and cover other duties in an acting capacity assigned, to include but not limited to construction management, supervision, safety.
β’ Prepare daily logs including progress reporting, issue management, equipment, and personnel tracking
β’ Develop methods, techniques, and procedures for the implementation and troubleshooting of special construction discipline work processes
β’ Support projects that are in the office and in the field
β’ Analyze and make independent recommendations regarding solutions to problems with varying complexity in accordance with organization and/or project objectives and guidelines
β’ Organize and prioritize a variety of assignments and multiple tasks in an effective and timely manner, set priorities, and meet deadlines
