Job Summary - OVERNIGHT CAREGIVER NEEDED

Senior Helpers is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Home Care professional to join its team, providing essential support to individuals in need of assistance with daily living activities. This role is crucial in enhancing the quality of life for our clients, ensuring their comfort and well-being in various settings, including home community care, group homes, and nursing homes. The ideal candidate will possess a strong commitment to patient care and be able to follow care plans effectively.

Duties

• Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation.
• Provide companionship and emotional support to clients, fostering a positive environment.
• Help with mobility assistance, including heavy lifting when necessary.
• Monitor clients’ health and report any changes or concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization within the client's living space.
• Follow individualized care plans to meet the specific needs of each client.
• Support clients in engaging with their community and participating in social activities.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in Home Care or as a personal care aide is preferred.
• Strong skills in patient care, including knowledge of basic medical terminology and practices.
• Ability to perform client lifting assistance as required for client mobility assistance.
• Excellent communication skills and a compassionate demeanor.
• Familiarity with cooking nutritious meals tailored to client dietary needs is a plus.
• Experience working in facility environments is a plus.
