Provide peer coaching and support to the store team to drive customer service, sales, and conversion.Â
- Focus on providing an exceptional store experience, consultative selling, driving conversion, and providing total solutions to every customerÂ
- Own weekly sales and merchandising activities Â
- Perform Floor Leader role, directing the team to deliver a great customer experience in all areas of the storeÂ
- Champion company initiatives, adaptable to change or responsibilities, and flexible to perform other duties as assignedÂ
- Remain available and always support an engaging environmentÂ
- Complete daily tasks for merchandising and sales opportunities within the storeÂ
- Assist with completing and delegating operational tasks in partnership with the GMÂ
- Peer coach team on the behaviors to win, deliver great customer service and to deliver results through role playing and feedback  Â
- Be flexible to perform other duties as assignedÂ
Essential skills and experience:Â
- Able to work a flexible schedule based on the store’s needsÂ
- 1+ year experience selling retail products or services Â
- Must be able to and want to engage with customers and understand their needsÂ
- Effective communication skills, organization, and adaptive to changing business prioritiesÂ
- Experience coaching a team and/or supervising othersÂ
- Ability to work cooperatively in a high paced and sometimes stressful environment
- Manage conflict in a reasonable, nonconfrontational and cooperative manner
- Ability to act with honesty and integrity regarding customer and business information
- Ability to lift/move materials in the 10 - 50 pound range, climb ladders, stand and walk continuouslyÂ
