Ecolab is seeking driven B2B sales professionals to join the commercialโ€ฏPest Elimination Solutions Salesโ€ฏteam in the United States.โ€ฏ As aโ€ฏSales Development Managerโ€ฏyou will build & grow profitable client relationships with commercial businesses to protect their brand, their facilities, and the health and safety of their employees and customers.โ€ฏ You will drive sales and attain budget goals by leveraging prospecting, cold calling, and networking skills to target restaurants, hospitals, hotels, retailers, food and beverage plants, schools, and nursing homes to offer the most effective B2B pest elimination programs in the United States. The new accounts you acquire will be aligned to our service team which is responsible for delivering the solutions you sell.ย

What You Will Do:ย 

  • Prospect and obtain customers to achieve annual new business sales goalsย 

  • Discover sales opportunities and implement sales strategiesย 

  • Partner with our service team, corporate account team, and inter-company partners to implement best practices to solve customerโ€™s pest problemsย 

  • Build rapport and cultivate relationships with customersโ€ฏand co-workers through professional demeanor and strong interpersonal skillsย 

  • Provide outstanding customer service by leading and educating customers throughout the sales processย 

  • Keep informed of Ecolab product / service offerings and industry conditions to enhance successful customer outcomesย 

  • To start, you will have the advantage of Ecolabโ€™s world class paid training program designed to provide you the tools and resources to be one of the best in your field.โ€ฏ Our 7 week training program will include paid travel to Ecolab Corporate Headquarters in Saint Paul, Minnesota for portions of the training.ย

Position Details:ย 

  • This position is based in Florence, Sumter & Pawleys Island, SC ย 

  • Territory covers about a 140 mile radius of the surrounding areaโ€ฏโ€ฏย 

  • 10% overnight travel โ€ฏโ€ฏย 
    โ€ฏย 

Minimum Qualifications:ย 

  • Bachelorโ€™s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience (1.5 years of business to business sales or Ecolab experience = 1 year of post-secondary education)ย 

  • Must have a valid driverโ€™s license and acceptable Motor Vehicle Recordย 

  • Home office with internet access capabilityย 

  • Must be able to read and write in Englishย 

  • Immigration sponsorship not available for this roleย

Preferred Qualifications:ย 

  • 3 years of demonstrated proven results in business to business commercial sales or equivalent Ecolab experienceย 

  • Pest elimination and / or hotel and restaurant selling experience preferredย 

  • Excellent organization / time management skillsย 

  • Proven relationship management and consulting skillsย 

  • Problem-solving ability to determine customer solutionsย 

  • Proven negotiation & presentation expertiseย 

  • Strong self-motivation & drive for resultsย 

  • Bilingual - English and Spanishย

Annual or Hourly Compensation Range

The total Compensation range for this position is $82,000-$123,000 which includes base pay and target incentive based on performance, per plan terms. Many factors are taken into consideration when determining compensation, such as experience, education, training, geography, etc. We comply with all minimum wage and overtime laws.
