What You'll Do:

  • Assist with access control procedures at the logistics and distribution location, including verifying credentials and monitoring entry and exit points.
  • Provide customer service by addressing inquiries and guiding visitors, contractors, and employees as needed.
  • Carry out security-related procedures and follow site-specific policies, adapting to changing situations as required.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating issues appropriately.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
  • Monitor and report irregularities, such as security-related breaches, property damage, or suspicious behavior.
  • Support emergency response activities in alignment with Allied Universal protocols and client site requirements.
  • Maintain clear and accurate records of daily activities, incidents, and observations for site reporting purposes.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driverโ€™s license will be required for driving positions only.
