You will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, stay highly visible to help discourage security-related incidents, and support access control and incident reporting. What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to personnel, contractors, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a manufacturing and industrial location.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings, production areas, parking lots, and perimeter fencing to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or identify maintenance or operational concerns for reporting.
  • Monitor access points and verify identification, visitor authorization, and delivery documentation; direct visitors and drivers to designated check-in areas per site-specific requirements.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including coordinating notifications, completing incident reports, and preserving information for follow-up.
  • Operate site systems and communications such as radios, phones, and alarm and/or camera monitoring tools; maintain accurate logs of patrols, inspections, and key events.

Minimum Requirements:

  • A minimum of 2+ years of security experience is required.
  • A valid driverโ€™s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • A minimum of 2+ years' law enforcement, military, and/or corrections experience is required.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driverโ€™s license will be required for driving positions only.
