Senior Materials Analyst

Job Summary:

The Senior Materials Analyst is responsible for the analysis of plant area and surface / maintain and monitor ramp up and future projects. Ensure on time delivery of material while maintaining inventory targets and customer support.

Essential functions of the job:

• Develop and implement logistics, storage and warehouse concept for new footprints and future business, including warehouse income, shipping and pick on/off areas, implementing EOP projects and other strategic programs, etc. 
• Provide information to improve ODS incl. packaging and checking instructions for existing business and future projects.
• Assist with workstations for footprint move and future business considering material flow and equipment.
• Develop and implement concept for magazine and small-parts warehouse considering overall material flow concept.
• Plan and execute PEIL studies and risk assessments (equipment, logistics, materials etc.).
• Support adaption of serial MBOM to the operational environment / master file data.
• Support at planning and executing 5S and HSE audits under logistics/quality and operations aspects.
• Support logistics systems for After Sales warehouse and production steering.
• Assist in the management of carrier and inventory and material flow; various internal audits; various trainings.
• Support Launch and Balance Out Activities.

Required Education:

• Bachelor's Level Degree
• Area of Study: Logistics, Planning, Manufacturing or similar.
• Equivalent work experience may also be considered for certain positions.

Required qualifications:

• 5-7 Minimum Years of Experience in logistics field or related industry.
• 1-3 Minimum Years of Experience within the automotive industry.
• Must be able and willing to travel and work at customer sites, including industrial manufacturing plants which might require climbing, lifting, or working in confined spaces.
• Computer literacy.
• Proficient organizational skills.
• Excellent oral communication skills.
