3rd shift Industrial Painter

POSITION SUMMARY

We're in search of a Production Painter to become part of our team based in Greenville, SC. As a Production Painter I, you'll be responsible for using spray painter equipment to apply industrial paint and finish to metal and/or products. This position involves mixing paint and other solutions, monitoring the drying process of sprayed materials, and ensuring the desired results. Additionally, you'll finish materials through baking, curing, and polishing. At Engineered Products, safety is paramount, so this role demands a keen adherence to safety regulations and guidelines while maintaining product quality.

AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITIES

• Operate spray painter equipment to apply industrial paint finishes on metals or products.
• Mix paints and other solutions accurately.
• Monitor the drying process to ensure desired results.
• Complete finishing tasks such as baking, polishing, or other methods.
• Adhere to all required safety procedures.
• Perform manual painting tasks when necessary.

EDUCATION AND/OR TRAINING

• High school diploma required.
• May require apprenticeship and/or formal training in the specialty area.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

Regularly works around moving mechanical parts and in outside conditions that include inclement weather, heat, and humidity. Noise level may be loud at times.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

Must be able to move objects and use abdominal and lower back muscles to provide support over time without fatigue. Constant movement and use of limbs; this position requires good manual dexterity, coordination, and stamina. Must be able to lift 50 or more pounds at a time.
