Adjunct Welding Instructor
State of South CarolinaJob Responsibilities
Teaches classroom and laboratory courses. Prepare and teach a full range of welding coursework such as oxy-acetylene, gas metal arc, shielded metal arc (including pipe), gas tungsten arc (steel, stainless and aluminum) and fabrication. Supervises students during classroom and laboratory activities.
Must be proficient in SMAW, GTAW, GMAW, FCAW, all positions plate and pipe, ferrous and non-ferrous metals. Must be proficient with OxyFuel and Plasma Cutting equipment. Must be capable of operation and maintaining all welding lab equipment.

Needed for Spring 2025Minimum and Additional Requirements
Associate Degree in teaching discipline or Graduate Apprentice in appropriate field. Minimum of five (5) years full-time experience or journey worker status required. Teaching experience and NCCER certification.
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor’s preferred and AWS Certifications.
