The tutor is primarily responsible for encouraging self-directed learning and development in each student. To do this, a tutor assists students with their coursework. This may require the tutor to help clarify a concept or give a clear explanation of an English assignment. The tutor is not expected to know how to answer every possible question, but rather to work to ensure that the student develops a firm foundation to take learning to the next level. Work with instructors to enhance student learning. Cross training to ensure seamless customer service and additional tasks may also be assigned by the director.
Minimum and Additional Requirements Degreed tutors (bachelorβs to masterβs) need to present a list of references, and a current resume as well as any relevant tutorial experience
