Coker University is seeking highly motivated applicants for the position of Assistant Athletics Media Relations Director. Coker is a member of NCAA Division II and competes in the South Atlantic Conference. This position will be responsible for creating graphics, video, and messaging for social media; in-game statistics; broadcasting; editing and designing athletics department publications; compiling and archiving statistics, records, photography, and other information and nominating student-athletes, coaches and teams for awards; enhance the game day experience; assisting with productions, administrative duties for home events and other duties as assigned. This position will foster and champion DEI and maintain an equity mindset and will support and model the University service standards.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • Ability to run a live stream production as well as broadcast abilities.
  • Functioning of commercials, sponsor ads, stats, crowd engagement, and scoring.
  • Ability to capture live video for immediate playback on the
  • Watch incoming camera feeds for optimal replays
  • Proficiency with sports statistics programs such as Presto Stats and NCAA LiveStats; proficiency with Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects; experience managing one or more team or departmental social media accounts; graphic design/illustration skills.
  • The ability to organize, prioritize, and schedule work assignments; demonstrated proficiency with Adobe InDesign and Adobe Photoshop.
