Description

Location: This position is full-time (40-hours/week) Monday-Friday in a typical office environment. This role is onsite at 51 Clemson Rd. Columbia, SC.

Position Purpose:

Provides administrative support for Total Rewards operations, including service awards, payroll documentation, and employee inquiries. Ensures accurate processing, tracking, and distribution of sensitive information while maintaining data integrity and compliance. Supports a positive employee experience through efficient service and strong attention to detail.

What You’ll Do:

  • Research employee tenure using monthly service award lists; prepare and distribute recognition letters, process check requests and service award gifts and maintain tracking spreadsheets. Support FMLA notifications by preparing correspondence and assembling leave packages.

  • ​Ensures that all documents received are documented in workflow database or document tracking logbook. Distributes documents to appropriate technicians.

  • Indexes and scans all payroll documents.

  • Performs administrative duties --- types, edits, updates forms/documents/procedures. Maintains departmental listings and binders.

  • Documents and distributes manual checks to appropriate technicians. Prepares and distributes daily and monthly reports.

  • Assists employees/customers --- walk-ins, telephone, or written correspondence.

  • Documents and distributes notice of deposits (NODs) and checks on a biweekly basis.

  • Maintains equipment and supplies for the area. Distributes mail to departmental employees.

To Qualify For This Position, You’ll Need The Following:

  • Required Education: High School Diploma or equivalent

  • Required Work Experience: 1 Year Administrative/clerical experience.

  • Required Skills and Abilities: Working knowledge of word processing and spreadsheet software. Good judgment skills. Effective customer service and organizational skills. Ability to handle confidential or sensitive information with discretion.

  • Required Software and Other Tools: Microsoft Office

  • Preferred Work Experience: 1 year benefit, payroll, or other Human Resources support experience.
