Attorney - Charleston, SC Area

Real estate law firm in Charleston, South Carolina seeking an attorney to join a well-established team. Candidate should be a member in good standing of the SC Bar or taking the bar exam in 2025.  Experience in Civil matters preferred.  

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Identifying title issues in real estate chain of title
• Obtaining, reviewing, and analyzing Delinquent Tax Office records
• Conducting effective legal research, analyzing data, and providing legal solutions
• Preparing legal pleadings to quiet title to real property
• Conducting public record research
• Appearing in Court for Quiet Title Actions

 REQUIREMENTS

• Experience in Civil Litigation preferred
• Member of the South Carolina State Bar (in good standing), knowledge of Rules of Civil Procedure
• Excellent and prompt verbal/written communication skills and ability to work well with others
• Self-starter, capable of community involvement, and achieving results
• Strong work ethic demonstrated in academics and work history
