Position Summary:

Join our dynamic Food & Beverage team as a Cook/F&B Team Member, where you'll play an essential role in delivering exceptional guest experiences. This position combines daily kitchen operations and front of house service by supporting snack bar and service counter operations, including guest transactions and order fulfillment with exciting event catering opportunities, from intimate breakfast services to large-scale banquets. We're looking for a culinary professional who thrives in a collaborative environment and brings both reliability and creativity to the kitchen.

Key Responsibilities:

• Execute daily kitchen operations, including food prep, service, and cleaning.
 • Prepare and serve meals for events as required.
 • Maintain kitchen cleanliness, safety, and organization in compliance with health regulations.
 • Assist in monitoring and maintaining inventory levels.
 • Help ensure food cost efficiency and minimize waste, particularly during special projects or events.
 • Monitor food quality, portion sizes, and presentation standards.
 • Support set-up, service, and breakdown of food service areas for events.
 • Collaborate with the F&B Manager and Events Coordinator to develop event-specific menus.
 • Uphold food safety standards and proper handling procedures at all times.
 • Fill front-of-house food service roles such as snack bar cashier, food runner, and guest-facing service support.
 • Maintain a professional, guest-focused demeanor when working in public-facing areas.
 • Accurately handle cash, credit card transactions, and point-of-sale (POS) systems when assigned guest-facing roles.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in a commercial kitchen or food service environment preferred.
 • Knowledge of food preparation techniques for large groups.
 • Knowledge of food safety practices and kitchen operations.
 • ServeSafe or equivalent food handler certification – or willing to obtain (required).
 • Ability to responsibly handle cash and electronic payments, including basic register balancing and transaction accuracy.
 • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
 • Flexible availability, including weekends, early mornings, and holidays.
 • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
 • Creative mindset with a willingness to contribute ideas for new events and menus.
 • Willingness to support both back-of-house and front-of-house operations as part of a team-first environment.
