CustodianΒ Position: School Year 2020-21
Β
The custodian is responsible to perform custodial work for the care, maintenance, protection, and preservation of school plant, its contents, and grounds.
Β
PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES:
Β
- Clean classrooms, program areas, performing repairs as needed.
- Clean restrooms, performing minor repairs as needed.
- Clean stairways, entrance halls, and hallways, performing minor repairs as needed.
- Clean gym and clean cafeteria (commons) area.
- Inform maintenance director of items that require repair beyond this.
- Maintain sufficient supplies needed for keeping the building clean and in good order, and inform building principal of supply and equipment need.
- See that the temperature in classrooms, offices, and other areas remains between 69-70Β°F during the school day and during activity sessions before and afterschool.
- Perform other duties as assigned. Students in the district are prepared for competitive careers and education pathways. CSD1 offers unique learning environments that include an integration of college-preparatory curriculum, career training, STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math), and fine arts. Β
