SUMMARY

The Data Analytics Coordinator is a professional adept at interpreting data, extracting meaningful insights, and translating numbers into plan language to inform strategic decisions. Using data from the organization’s Electronic Health Record system, CareLogic, the incumbent is responsible for writing reports and using existing reports to not just collect data, but blend statistical knowledge, technical prowess in data manipulation, and an understanding of our business operations to uncover patterns and trends that drive efficiency and innovation. As a Coordinator, this incumbent is responsible for resolving issues related to CareLogic and providing training in the use of CareLogic.Β

Position Logistics

  • Full-time, 37.5 hours, routinely 8:30 am - 5:00 pm, Monday - Friday
  • Hiring range based on related experience.

Education and Experience Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in data science, statistics, computer science, or related field is required. A master's degree is preferred.
  • Two (2) years of related professional experience (non-internship) experience including roles that involve data processing, reporting, or business intelligence is required.
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel is required.
  • Knowledge of SQL and the behavioral health services field strongly preferred.

Position Overview

Β 

Data Analytics (50%)

  • Coordinates the management, collection and reporting of data from CareLogic in order to track Contract Objectives in our Grants Management System (GMS) and other reporting requirements of governing bodies as well as for organization program management.
  • Run existing reports as well as write/create customer reports as needed to collect, organize, and report data collected in CareLogic using agency approved software.
  • Verify data and investigate anomalous data points independently.
  • Independently identify and utilize solutions to data problems through participation in the Qualifacts Community and coordination with BHSA and the organization’s sister agencies.
  • Present data both remotely and face-to-face in a cohesive and coherent manner through presentations, preparation of spreadsheets, and/or other methods as required.

Electronic Health Record Coordination (25%):

  • Responsible for the management of the electronic health record system (CareLogic) for the organization including updating credentials and adding/removing users.
  • Manages incoming helpdesk tickets and resolves issues related to CareLogic
  • Provides training to new staff in the use of CareLogic and ongoing training for other staff as necessary.

Continuous Quality Improvement (15%)

  • Direct and further develop the continuous quality improvement program to implement a variety of CQI activities including, but not limited to:
    • Chair the agency’s monthly CQI Committee
    • Direct the creation of measurable objectives and ensure timely reporting
    • Compile monthly and annual CQI report information.
    • Facilitate agency Problem Solving Teams as necessary to address process and/or data-related concerns and follow-up with appropriate response and documentation.
    • Conduct New Employee Orientation on QA/CQI processes

Perception of Care Surveys (10%)

  • In coordination with the Customer Care Advocate, is responsible for data entry, analysis, and reporting of data from Perception of Care surveys.
