At Schnellecke Logistics, we are committed to operational excellence through innovation, security, and strong infrastructure. We are currently seeking a Database Administrator to join our Information Technology team in Ladson.

Position Summary

The Database Administrator is responsible for overseeing the maintenance, performance, and security of company databases and network systems. This role plays a critical part in protecting company data, supporting infrastructure operations, and ensuring efficient access to information across sites.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain Local Area Networks (LAN) across Schnellecke sites
• Install and configure network and endpoint devices (routers, firewalls, switches, servers, printers, time clocks, cameras, IoT devices)
• Install and administer local servers and virtual machines (application servers, print servers, domain controllers)
• Troubleshoot network and computer issues
• Manage central software distribution, group policies, and IT asset management
• Provide general user help desk support
• Assist with additional IT projects as assigned

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field
• Minimum 2 years of experience as a Network Administrator, Database Administrator, or IT Technician

Physical & Compliance Requirements

• Ability to sit/stand for up to 10-hour shifts
• Ability to walk up to one mile to and from job site
• Must complete company training and wear required PPE
