Design Engineer CoOp/Intern Fall Semester

Mechanical Design Engineer Co‑Op: Support new and existing product designs by creating 3D CAD models/drawings, running tests and technical analysis, completing ECNs, and maintaining accurate engineering and certification documentation, while collaborating with Product Management, Sourcing, Manufacturing, Marketing, and the Certification Lab.

Responsibilities:

• Develop design solutions to enhance product integrity andmaintainhigh-quality standards.
• Prepare andfinalizeEngineering Change Notices (ECNs) to release designs and related documentation to manufacturing facilities.
• Evaluate product performance through detailed testing and technical analysis.
• Recommend and implement engineering changes to ensure all products meet specifications and adhere to quality standards.
• Design new products and product extensions based on detailed product specifications.
• Create and complete support documentationrequiredfor product certifications.
• Manage all engineering product documentation, ensuring accuracy and accessibility.
• Proficiencywith CAD tools for 3D modeling and design documentation

Compensation

The hourly rate is $19.00-23.00
