Dog Groomer

Dogtopia is hiring an experienced groomer to join our team at Summerville’s leading dog daycare, boarding, and full-service spa location. 

In addition to great grooming skills, the right candidate is a great culture fit; is positive, fun, and friendly; does whatever it takes to create a memorable experience for our dogs and pet parents; and wants to contribute positively to the team and to the Summerville community. 

The right person will: 

·      have the ability to groom dogs to breed standard, including dematting, shave-downs, pattern clips and hand-scissoring 

·      be willing and able to discuss specific requests with pet parents

·      be comfortable handling dogs of many different sizes, breeds, and temperaments

·      possess strong time-management skills and the ability to accurately estimate the length of time needed for a groom 

·      practice flexibility, patience, and understanding with dogs and people
