Job Summary

We are seeking a Technical Engineering Technician to support engineering activities involving the design, fabrication, integration, testing, and sustainment of electronic and electro-mechanical systems. This role includes hands-on technical work, system troubleshooting, customer support, and assisting with product installation and upgrades in a defense-focused environment.

What You Will Do

  • Perform technical functions supporting system design, test, checkout, modification, fabrication, and assembly of electronic and electro-mechanical systems

  • Assist with experimental design, circuitry development, and prototype modeling

  • Support system fabrication, integration, and testing of electronic circuits and mechanical devices

  • Conduct on-site installation, troubleshooting, and testing of equipment

  • Provide technical support to customers regarding operational and maintenance aspects of systems

  • Update system drawings and recommend upgrades or improvements as needed

Requirements

  • Basic computer and networking skills

  • Solid electronics and electrical knowledge

  • Strong mechanical aptitude

  • Cable fabrication skills

  • U.S. Citizenship required

  • Active U.S. Government Secret clearance required with Top Secret eligibility

Desired Qualifications

  • Formal electronics training

  • Cable fabrication training

  • Basic electrical training and knowledge

  • Integration training and experience

  • Strong mechanical aptitude

  • Ability to train and mentor personnel

Travel Requirements

  • 10–20% travel required
