Overview






Supervise and oversee assigned territory with approximately 8-15 technicians.Β Β  Provide and maintain excellent customer service and be the frontline service contact for our external customers. Install, repair, and maintain copier, printers, and facsimile, by handling daily call activity for assigned territory and performing the following duties.

Responsibilities






  • Identifies, assesses, and prioritizes service calls on equipment, and ensures quality control of work performed in designated territory.
  • Responds to services calls or operational difficulties or failures, with copier and facsimile.
  • Achieves response time goals, including: customer call-backs, reschedule rates, machine call-back rates, and provide technical statistical reports.
  • Reports complete and accurate information on service logs.
  • Provides status and service reports to management and recommends actions, such as copier/facsimile technology update, and replacement

Supervisory responsibilities:Β 

  • Directly supervises 8-15 employees in a Service Department team.
  • Interviewing, hiring, and training new Service Dept employees
  • Planning, assigning, and directing work of Service Dept Team Members
  • Appraising performance, rewarding and disciplining employees as needed
  • Addressing team member complaints and resolving issues
  • Carries out all other supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws.

Qualifications






  • Minimum 3-5 years experience as a Service Technician in copier repair, or similar capacity working with electronics or electro-mechanical equipment.
  • Associate degree or equivalent from two-year College or technical school, or equivalent combination of formal education and technical equipment instruction.
  • Must possess or achieve Net+ certification within six (6) months of hire.
  • Must possess strong communication skills and mechanical aptitude.
  • Must successfully complete Sharp equipment pre-testing and training.
  • Knowledge of Windows and Microsoft Office software products preferred.
  • Valid Drivers License, and Automobile insurance within company guidelines.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Must be able to travel to various customer sites daily.
  • Requires frequent kneeling, bending and considerable use of hands and tools.
  • Frequently requires moving or lifting of up to 75 pounds.

Compensation for this position

The compensation range for this role is $33,750- $74,000. The listed salary range or contractual rate excludes bonuses, incentives, differential pay, and any other forms of compensation or benefits. The starting salary will be determined by several variables, including but not limited to experience, education, training, certification, and location. You may also be eligible to receive an annual discretionary incentive award, commissions, and program-specific awards, which are subject to the rules governing these programs.
