JOB SUMMARY:

Links, an American Grill, is seeking a Fine Dining CookΒ who is highly motivated and passionate about cooking.Β The responsibilities of the Fine Dining Cook include but is not limited to focusing on accurately cooking meats, fish, vegetables, soups, and other hot food products as well as preparing and portioning food products prior to cooking. The Fine Dining Cook also performs other duties in the areas of food and final plate preparation and presentation.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Providing and maintaining high quality standards and procedures in preparing and serving all food and ensuring that all food quality meets specifications and guarantees.
  • Maintaining a solid menu knowledge and of all food products and skillfully applying culinary techniques with attention to detail regarding plate presentation and preparation.
  • Following all procedures and policies set forth by Links, an American Grill while having a solid knowledge, understanding and preparation of base sauces and stocks.
  • Cleaning of all equipment, tools, and supplies and maintaining equipment in good working order while following all procedures and policies set forth by Links, an American Grill.
  • Work as a team and effectively communicate with management and service staff in order to fulfill and address any issues or needs requested by guests and or other associates.
  • Following all procedures and policies set forth Links, an American Grill
  • Contribute to the growth and success of the team
  • Portray enthusiasm and a positive attitude
  • Be punctual, responsible, and flexible

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

  • Previous experience cooking in fine dining
  • Two or more years of experience as a line cook
  • Experience with various cooking methods and procedures
  • Familiarity with industry best practices

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS:

  • Valid Driver's License.
  • ServSafe certification preferred.
