Team Summary
The Warehouse Operations Team has the primary responsibilities for loading finished goods to internal and external customers and facilities, unloading finished goods and raw materials from outside vendors while verifying accuracy.
Job Summary
The Forklift Operator/Fulfillment Center Point Person is a full-time position directly reporting to the Warehouse Services Supervisor. It is their responsibility to achieve excellence in executing the assigned inventory stocking, counting and picking plans for the Fulfillment Center.
The Forklift Operator position will adhere to all OSHA warehouse and forklift safety rules and company's safety policies and procedures.This includes safety awareness and practices, safely driving, loading, unloading, staging of product inside and outside of the warehouse Operations.
Essential Duties
Maintain a working knowledge of safe and proper lift truck operations according to OSHA and Standard Logistics policies.
Properly wear safety PPE at all times. Work safely and follow safety procedures. Operate lift truck in accordance with OSHA and Standard Logistics policies. Routinely perform housekeeping duties.
Load and unload (rail/trucks), transfer finished goods and raw materials to various designated warehouse storage yards and locations.
Pick orders and load timely and accurately, print BOLβs, while following proper loading procedures.
Be Proficient with PeopleSoft and WMS.
Load finished goods on trucks for transfer to internal and external customerβs facilities. Assist with physical inventory and cycle counts as required.
Maintain neat, clean and orderly work area (truck, trailer and warehouse).
Maintain accurate product count and bin locations.
Work collaboratively with the warehouse operations team and fleet operations to create a positive and productive work environment.
Assist in all areas of the Logistics operation as assigned by management.
Ability to read and concentrate via computer data entry typing and proofreading
Must be able to climb ladders and/or stairs and walk on open grating on elevated surfaces
Required to reach with hands and arms and stoop, kneel, or crouch
Frequent sitting, walking, and standing, and occasional climbing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, and balancing
Frequent use of eye, hand, and finger coordination enabling the use of office machinery
Oral and auditory capacity enabling interpersonal communication as well as communication through automated devices such as the telephone, or radio
Required to sit, stand, walk, drive and use hands to finger, handle or feel objects, tools, or controls
Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus
Must continuously have the ability to differentiate colors precisely

Qualifications Required
3+ years of Supply Chain/Mobile Equipment experience
Experience within Standard/GAF warehouse operations
Basic Computer Skills/Knowlege, specifically with Google Docs, Gmail, Calendar, PeopleSoft and WMS.
