The General Superintendent plays a critical leadership role in overseeing and managing large-scale construction projects from inception to completion across various sites within the United States. Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelorβs degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 15-20 years of progressive experience in construction supervision, with at least 10-15 years in a superintendent or general superintendent role.
- Proven track record managing large-scale commercial or industrial construction projects.
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, safety regulations, and quality control standards.
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and contracts.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Professional certifications such as Certified Construction Manager (CCM) or OSHA Safety Certification.
- Experience with construction management software (e.g., Procore, PlanGrid, or similar).
- Familiarity with Lean Construction principles and practices.
