Job Summary:

• HR Generalist under the guidance of the Field HR Director manages the day-to-day operations of the Human Resources Department.   Administration of the human resources policies, procedures, and programs.  The HR Generalist carries out responsibilities in the following functional areas:  team member relations, training and development, recruiting, team member activities and other projects as assigned.

Primary Duties:

• Recruiting and staffing.
• Performance management.
• Employment and compliance to regulatory concerns and reporting.
• Team member orientation, development, and training.
• Policy development and documentation.
• Team member relations.
• Company team member communication.
• Compensation and benefit administration.
• Team member safety, welfare, wellness, and health.
• Team member services and counseling.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

Education/Certifications/Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent Human Resources, Business or Organization Development or equivalent.
• Five years of progressive experience in Human Resources position.
• Considerable knowledge of principles and practices of personnel administration.
• Strong interpersonal skills both oral and written.
• Strong understanding of the California Labor Laws and federal requirements and regulations.  
• Experience administering team member benefit plans, recruitment, and compensation plans.
• Bi-Lingual 

Physical Demands: 

• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at times.  
• Must be able to sit for long periods of time.
