We are looking for a Maintenance Technician who is knowledgeable and experienced with routine and at time complex repairs and maintenance tasks. Β To be successful in this role, you should be proactive, demonstrate initiative, self-motivated while still acting as a part of a team, reliable, and trustworthy. Β  The most successful candidates will have the ability to multitask and prioritize. This is a critical role for our agency and our patients; therefore, attendance and punctuality are required.

Position Logistics

  • Location: In-Office and available to travel in between the Richland, Lexington and SCRPP locations as needed
  • Hours/Schedule: Full-time, 37.5 hours weekly Monday – Friday, 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM
  • May require on-call weekend rotation, work schedule and overtime as approved by supervisor.
  • Must be at least 26 years oldΒ 
  • Must have a valid driver’s license

Education & Experience Requirements

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED); and one year of experience in the job dutiesΒ 
  • One to three years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Position Overview

  • Perform routine and preventive maintenance tasks, such as HVAC filters, inspecting fire extinguishers, testing smoke detectors, and addressing other safety and compliance-related concerns.
  • Repair and maintain building system and equipment, including HVAC systems, plumbing, fixtures, lighting, and electrical systems.Β 
  • Conduct floor, painting, drywall, furniture/fixture, and equipment repairs as needed to maintain the building’s interior and exterior aesthetics. Β Assist with building renovation, remodeling projects, and other capital improvement initiatives.
  • Manage and maintain inventory of maintenance and building supplies, tools, and equipment, and procure necessary materials as needed.
  • Coordinate with external contractors for specialized repairs and maintenance tasks beyond the scope of in-house capabilities.
  • Ensure compliance with building codes, safety regulations, and environmental standards.
  • Keep accurate records of maintenance activities, work orders, and equipment history using computerized maintenance management systems or other tracking tools.
