Description

The Industrial Maintenance Technician will be responsible for installing, repairing, and monitoring industrial processing and production machinery. This is a position with exposure to electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic systems.Β 

Essential Duties & ResponsibilitiesΒ 

  • Ensure correct and safe operation of facility and equipment.Β 

  • Troubleshoot and maintain HVAC, electrical systems, plumbing, pneumatic systems, and facility equipment.Β 

  • Identify faulty equipment through observation and testing metrics.Β 

  • Source replacement parts and perform repairs.Β 

  • Work with management to continually update the production process and system software.Β 

  • Attend daily shift meetings to prioritize work orders and minimize downtime.Β 

  • Safely operate cranes, power tools, hoists, and hand tools.Β 

  • Assess the condition of used parts using micrometers, calipers, and specifications.Β 

  • Maintain parts and tools inventory.Β 

  • Maintain electrical, pneumatics, hydraulics and mechanical knowledge via on-going training, industry workshops and technical reading.Β 

Qualifications

RequiredΒ 

  • Minimum of 3 years industrial maintenance or heavy equipment experienceΒ 

  • Basic understanding of electrical and mechanical systemsΒ Β 

  • Capable of operating hand, power, and specialized toolsΒ 

  • Able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.Β 

PreferredΒ 

  • Team player and willing to work with minimal supervisionΒ 

  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skillsΒ 

  • High school diploma or GEDΒ
