Mental Health Professional I / Brushy Creek & Buena Vista Elementary (Internal Applicants Only)

With our Agency's mission to support the recovery of people with mental illnesses, we provide a complete array of medical and support services for children, adults, and families throughout South Carolina.

• Provides individual therapy, family therapy, group therapy, assessments, crisis interventions, and RBHS in a school mental health program during the school year and in Intensive Community-Based Services when school is not in session.

• Maintains documentation of clinical services in accordance with state and center quality assurance standards, adheres to all corporate compliance, outcomes evaluations, research, and continuity of care policies and procedures.

• Support the school environment through consultation, collaboration, and teamwork.

• Participates in meetings and trainings actively including weekly staffing, monthly SMH meetings, monthly supervision meetings, general CAF or GGMHC meetings and any assigned trainings. Performs other duties as assigned.

A master’s degree in guidance, counseling, the social sciences or a related field.

In order to be credentialed for core services as a Mental Health Professional at the SC Department of Mental Health, applicants must provide evidence of clinical experience providing direct patient care. This experience may be documented as a practicum or internship during graduate program, or post-graduate clinical experience.
