Patient Safety/Quality Specialist

Assists with implementing process improvement initiatives that support the reduction of patient/health errors and other factors that contribute to unintended adverse patient outcomes. Support departments and the Medical Staff in activities related to risk management, patient safety and quality improvement. Assists with safety assessments, staff education on the system-based causes for patient errors, and implementation of evidence-based programs that support effective patient safety strategies.
