Objective: Utilize automated equipment to safely package product into plastic bags.
Job Responsibilities:
Ensure your area and equipment have no human safety risk issues.
Ensure the area and equipment are kept in good condition to minimize the risk of foreign material contaminating the product. Ensure the equipment is not damaged in any way.
Immediately notify Quality, Food Safety and your Supervisor of any Quality, Food Safety or processing issues.
Operate automated equipment that weighs, and seals finished product into various weights and sizes of plastic bags.
Attain specific target speeds for each item.
Perform weight and seal integrity checks to ensure products meet customer or internal specifications.
Ensure packages are stamped correctly by the automated stamping system.
Ensure the proper item recipe is loaded into the machine and the run is started and stopped at the appropriate times.
Keep the equipment in a sanitary condition minimizing food safety risks.
Report any mechanical issues to maintenance and your supervisor if you have not been trained to resolve them.
Perform minor preventative maintenance tasks
Provide required documentation for each run.

Desire to learn and develop skills to grow within the company, earning a higher pay rate.
Requires excellent attendance commitment
Mechanical aptitude preferred
Discipline in following company policy and procedures consistently every day is required
The ability to support the company and team by providing a positive attitude towards their success
High school diploma or equivalent preferred
Ability to utilize electronic equipment such as IPAD or display screens
